7 SEO Software Reviews

Seeking out SEO software reviews for the best ones available can be a daunting task. Google is filled with contradicting results on which one’s the best, which one’s the worst, and which one’s simply don’t have many reviews available for. Luckily, I’ve compiled a list of the best software that help me every day on my SEO tasks, so that you’re not wasting your day desperately scrounging for available SEO software reviews that you can find.

Of course, it’s important to develop your own opinion on such a serious topic, as SEO can make or break your enterprising start-up in the blink of an eye. On the upside though, many of the products suggested below come with free trial versions, to ensure that you get exactly the kind of SEO software management system that you’re looking for. Without further ado, here are our seven SEO software reviews.

1. Market Samurai

market samuraiMarket Samurai has become an incredibly popular tool for search engine optimization due to its intuitive interface and range of useful analytical tools. Depending on your business, or what your motives behind SEO are, Market Samurai can break down niche keywords into the ones that are most profitable so that you can better prepare your content around these words.

The SEO competition module provides you with the ability to look at the competition and see the strength of their keywords, giving you the information you need to better plan your ascent to the top of Google searches. Other modules in Market Samurai include the find content and publish content modules, which pretty much speak for themselves. What’s of specific interest though is the promotion module, which searches for ways to maximize backlinks for your content. As backlinks are an important component of Google search standings, this service is invaluable.

Overall, Market Samurai is equipped with all of the tools anyone could need for SEO. The only drawback to the product is its rather steep cost, but this is offset by two factors: free updates and a trial version. If you’re interested, try out the trial version and see if it’s the right fit for your website. If it is, you’ll be happy to know that your purchase will give you access to Market Samurai forever, coupled with every update they make to the software to make it increasingly more effective.

2. MajesticSEO

Majesticseo
What i like the most about Majestic is that it gives you a pretty clear picture on a website’s trust flow vs. citation flow backlink profile, this is basically how many trusted backlinks a site has and how quickly they were built over time.

Another great thing about Majestic is how accurate their anchor text analysis is, it gives you a percentage cake so you can see if a keyword is being pushed as anchor above the 20% rate which about as much as it should, over that it is normally considered spam and black hat.

What i don’t like about majestic is that for their free version the amount of searches that you can make is very limited and with so many other SEO software out there for doing backlink analysis like of the ones mentioned in this same post, they should probably re-analyze their pricing strategy, but in the end they are not business morons and they know what works for them in terms of pricing so there’s probably no base to my rant.

3. Magic Submitter

magic submitterUpdate: I no longer use this software because of Google’s most recent algorithm changes. Similar to Market Samurai, SEO software reviews often speak very highly of Magic Submitter for its ability to create backlinks simply and effectively. One of its biggest downsides is in its cost. At almost seventy dollars a month, the Magic Submitter can create increasingly larger holes in your wallet if you’re not being efficient with it. Magic Submitter may be one of the best tools out there for SEO, but if you’re not going to be using it every month it can be a difficult sell.

If, on the other hand, you find yourself in constant need of SEO software that is reliable and secure, then there are few options better than Magic Submitter. Part of its charm comes from the excellent community service, its creator is a dedicated member of the customer service team and will speak to people having issues to make sure they don’t happen again in the future.

4.SEMRush

semrush seo software reviewSEMRush has one of the largest Internet communities out of the tools listed here, which means it also comes with one of the largest communities for helping you troubleshoot any potential problems you may have. While SEMRush does come with a hefty subscription fee, it more than makes up for this with the plethora of options they have available.

Owing to its subscription-based platform, SEMRush is constantly updating itself to incorporate innovative technologies to ensure you’ll always be on the cutting-edge of search engine optimization. In the case of SEMRush, SEO software reviews are generally positive. Perhaps its strongest feature is its comprehensive index of backlinks that can be accessed via API or through Explorer tools.

As evidence of its constantly evolving nature, SEMRush has recently introduced a set of new features that enable you to track page authority of the websites, display ads research and video ads research to understand how your competitors are using video advertisements.

5. The Best Spinner

the best spinnerUpdate: I no longer use this software because of Google’s most recent algorithm changes. Unlike some of the other products reviewed here, The Best Spinner separates itself by being focused on one specific aspect of content creation: article spinning. Put simply, article spinning takes one article and converts it into many more articles to allow for quicker content creation than would otherwise be possible. Best of all, it’s done at a fraction of the cost.

Developed by Jonathan Leger, who is already well-known in the Internet community for his high quality software programs, The Best Spinner is different from other article spinning software in that it doesn’t rely on a simple thesaurus to switch words out. With a normal article spinning software, this can create problems as a thesaurus may use synonyms, but it doesn’t always create logical sentences that flow naturally. Content that has obviously been computer generated isn’t very useful for capturing reader interest, and The Best Spinner sets out to correct these issues.

With its seven day free trial, there’s no reason not to take The Best Spinner out for a, well, spin. As it doesn’t have much use outside of article spinning, it’s recommended to try this in conjunction with one of the cheaper backlink and search engine optimization tools, to ensure that you attract as much traffic as possible for the lowest cost.

6. iBusinessPromoter

iBusinessPromoteriBusinessPromoter has earned much of its reputation thanks to the length with which it has been around. Founded in 1997, iBusinessPromoter has been in a state of constant evolution to keep itself at the top of the search engine optimization game. Unlike any of the other software choices listed here, iBusinessPromoter is so confident in their abilities that they promise all customers that within just one year, they’ll be in the top ten of Google search results or else they’ll receive their money back. With that kind of guarantee, it’s hard to pass up an opportunity to work with iBusinessPromoter.

With a success rate of roughly ninety eight percent, it’s easy to see why iBusinessPromoter can offer what would otherwise be an outrageous guarantee. As sophisticated as its keyword research and analysis is though, it’s not without some minor quibbles. Their technical support is almost non-existent and their competitive analysis leaves something to be desired. It offers almost every function you could want, but it lacks the ability to set up customized reports.

These problems aside, iBusinessPromoter is still a fantastic piece of software that is sure to earn its money back with its amazing research and analysis tools.

7. LinkAssistant

Link-AssistantLinkAssistant has a wide range of features that are sure to be useful in your endeavor to make it to the top of Google search results. Among its many utilities, LinkAssistant even comes with API for Google, Bing, and Yahoo!. This ensures that you’ll be well-equipped and not get frustrated with trying to deal with these search engines.

LinkAssistant is primarily about constructing directories of link partners that can then communicate and coordinate their efforts via connected email and tracking systems. As useful as it may be, it’s important to consider pricing when reviewing LinkAssistant. While there are three different levels for the software, it ultimately comes down to whether or not you want LinkAssistant to be useful. If so, and why wouldn’t you, LinkAssistant requires a subscription fee to keep itself updated.

8. Backlink Beast

backlink beastUpdate: I no longer use this software because of Google’s most recent algorithm changes. Backlink Beast isn’t terribly effective on its own, but it does have its uses when used in conjunction with a product like Magic Submitter. Backlink Beast isn’t about putting out quantity when it comes to backlinks, it’s about quality. Google won’t rank you highly if your websites aren’t supporting quality content with the backlinks.

Despite its setbacks, Backlink Beast does have its uses as a cheaper alternative to some of the more sophisticated software out there. If your budget doesn’t support a hefty investment, then give Backlink Beast a shot. It’s relatively cheap and comes with a seven dollar trial to see if it’s something you’d be interested in for the long term.

With these SEO software reviews, hopefully you’ll be better prepared for the future of your business and know exactly what to keep an eye for in your SEO software management system. Don’t just pick the cheapest option Google provides, as you tend to get what you pay for. On the other hand, it’s important to remember that in order to make money, you have to spend some. Products that provide a high traffic-inducing service will pay for themselves over time and shouldn’t be overlooked just because of an initially high price tag. It’s time to start generating those hits and getting people to the content you’ve painstakingly crafted. Just remember to optimize it with our recommended products and you’ll be set.
